Tayo Faniran is the first runner up of the 2014 edition of Big Brother Africa titled BBHotshots.
Continental reality TV show, Big Brother Africa will not hold this year, according to reports which FLOWDROPAS cannot independently confirm yet.
The cancellation of the widely followed TV show, according to the reports, is due to the inability of the organisers of the show, Africa Magic and Endemol to secure sponsorship for the show.
A report by Razz newspaper in Ghana quotes a top Multi Choice Ghana official, Anne Sackey as saying Multi Choice Ghana has received notice from MNET that BBA will not hold this year. The report continues that she explained that MNET did not give them any reasons but she thinks it’s due to sponsorship constraints.
‘They didn’t give us any reason though, but I think it’s mainly because of cash constraints as we all know the show is very expensive to put up’ she was reported to have said. She added:
‘They don’t have fix sponsors on the show.
Every year the sponsor changes, sometimes it’s Coca Cola, sometimes MTN and other companies from Ghana have sponsored before.’
